@yongestreetjournal: Ontario's OSAP controversy is escalating after the provincial government blocked three Academy of Learning Career College locations from accessing the Ontario Student Assistance Program until at least the 2029-30 academic year. The campuses had already been barred from OSAP funding for 2026-27, following inspections that raised concerns about whether students were completing their own coursework and actively participating in their programs. According to court documents reported by The Canadian Press on October 14, 2026, inspectors flagged instances in which courses appeared to have been completed in a single day, while some students reportedly could not identify their school or program. The schools dispute the government's handling of the decision and argue they were treated untairly, pointing to inadequate notice and undisclosed evidence. The controversy extends beyond these three locations, Ontario has hired KPMG to audit OSAP activity across private postsecondary institutions and referred broader concerns to the Ontario Provincial Police. The government has also paused OSAP payments associated with private postsecondary institutions while the audit continues. No wrongdoing has been proven in court, and the schools' explanations remain part of the dispute. With taxpayer money and students' access to education financing at stake, how should Ontario protect students while preventing potential abuse of public funds? #OSAP #OntarioNews #torontonews

What’s the name of the three banned career colleges ?

Should also be checking credentials of the students who went there. Read that some people finished an entire course in a day. I wouldn’t want a psw with absolutely no training watching over my loved ones.
