@veelivesglutenfree: Don't you just love it when your past self actually thinks about your future self? 😂 On Monday, when I was peeling vegetables for turkey dinner, I thought to myself, "You know what? You should just peel the extra vegetables now for that turkey soup you're planning to make tomorrow." Normally, I would've convinced myself not to bother. But this time I thought, nope, your future self will thank you! And boy, was I ever thankful! 😂 The turkey soup turned out absolutely delicious! Well, minus the turnip. That went rancid, so straight in the garbage it went. When in doubt, throw it out! And can we talk about homemade turkey stock for a second? I took mine out of the fridge and it had turned into JELLY! 😳 I was a little concerned at first, but once I heated it up, it turned right back into beautiful, delicious liquid gold! Apparently, that's actually a good thing! It's the natural gelatin from the turkey bones. Look at me learning things! 😂 Anyway, here's your reminder to do something nice for your future self. Trust me, she'll thank you! Does anyone else make turkey soup with their leftovers? And did you know homemade stock turns into jelly? Homemade gluten-free turkey soup with leftover Thanksgiving turkey! 🦃🍲 A little meal prep made my life easier, and I learned why homemade turkey stock turns into jelly! 😂 #TurkeySoup #LeftoverTurkey #GlutenFreeRecipes #MealPrepIdeas #ThanksgivingLeftovers
