I've been a HOA President for almost 3 years now. I've implemented Boo baskets, Halloween and Christmas decorating contests for $100 gift cards. We now have a lawn mower/ 4 wheeler Christmas parade and end of school party for kids at our community park.

I feel like the newly replaced HOA members will then be living in their version of hell. GO FOR IT! Block parties to celebrate the beginning of summer would be fun too. Here's to making an HOA community more like a real neighborhood.

I’d say also , and you yourself doesn’t like a letter, be that person who goes and has the conversation with whom ever may have something wrong and see if it’s something they can deal with or is it something the community could help out with, instead of always writing someone up. People will have tons more respect for the HOA if it’s for the people not for the liberals.
