@teamgarysodhi: The financial world has completely changed. Today, an 18-year-old can open a brokerage account directly from their phone without understanding the stock market, indexes, ETFs, options, or margin accounts. Within 5 minutes, they can secure a credit card, get a car loan, or open an online business without any real understanding of how the credit bureau works.  The financial decisions we are making today carry significantly more complexity than they did two or three generations ago. The problem? The curriculum in most schools has not evolved fast enough to keep up with how the world works now. Schools are still strictly teaching us how to earn a paycheck and bring it home. But once that money hits your bank account, they still aren't teaching you how to actually manage, invest, or protect it.  Financial education is your responsibility now.
