@closetsamples: Step into the dark and shadowed history of the French Quarter with a complete look at one of New Orleans' most infamous landmarks—the LaLaurie Mansion. Located at 1140 Royal Street, this grand Creole townhouse is world-famous for its terrifying history, once owned by the wealthy socialite Madame Delphine LaLaurie in the 1830s. Behind its elegant facade and wrought-iron balconies lay a horrific house of horrors that shocked the city when a devastating fire broke out in the mansion's kitchen in April 1834. That catastrophic fire exposed the unimaginable cruelty hidden inside, leading an angry crowd to storm the building, and forcing LaLaurie to flee New Orleans forever. Today, the mansion stands as a chilling monument to the city's dark past, steeped in lingering ghost stories of those who never left. If you are fascinated by the supernatural and interested in hearing more haunting stories of New Orleans' past, try taking a local ghost tour! You can walk the historic streets and hear the tales firsthand. Right now, quite a few currently have limited time discounts, such as the French Quarter walking ghost tour of New Orleans, which is 25% off and brings your ticket down to just $24.27. 🎟️ How to book: You can grab your tickets directly through TikTok by clicking the green location tag above my username at the bottom of the video! #TikTokGORisingStarsL2 #NewOrleans #VisitNewOrleans #FrenchQuarter #LalaurieMansion
