Teachers get payed well, starting on 47k a year and working up to 85k. They work an average of 1200 hours per year and have around 180 days off. Now compare that to nurses who work an average of 2000 hours per year with a starting salary of 38k working up to only 56k and get only the standard enough 22 days off with pay. Sorry Teachers but you don’t have the publics support on this. Pay the Nurses!

The teacher scale is up to €86k before extra allowances. Many teachers are paid more than Junior Doctors…..how much more money do you want?

All Teachers should be made work another 15 hours a week doing another part time job. Like 22 hours a week is like nothing.
