Can I please ask you how high? Mine was 142/108 and got sent to triage. It went back down and no protein in urine and blood was good so I got sent home. History of hypertension. I can't stand up more than a minute

The main reason I don’t want to be induced is because I want to experience contractions without pitocin. Of course if it’s medically necessary to be induced I’m all for it. Just curious how this would compare to my first experience of being induced

FTM, my Dr stop seeing me. I am 39+4 and he stop seeing me this week. After my cervix exam. I’m zero dilated. Told me to just go to the hospital if I go into labor. But supposedly baby is 8 pounds 14 oz, and hospitals won’t do an elective C-section. I don’t know what to do next. 😭 I want this baby to come out natural but I don’t have much signs other than mucus plug. Coming out. Some back. Pain comes and goes & a lot of Braxton Hicks. Also, I went to the hospital and I had 8 to 9 minutes of contractions in between. Please help me. I don’t know if to get a midwife. I feel completely lost…😔

i was so scared of induction. I was induced on monday night for high BP and it was an amazing experience. Was able to avoid pitocin and go without any pain meds! It may have even been easier than my spontaneous unmedicated birth

My doctor is talking about inducing me at 39 weeks, I’m nervous because I don’t want an epidural, but I’m optimistic I can still do without! This is my first so I have no idea what to expect!

My induction last week was a wonderful experience! Came in at 4cm, cytotec helped jumpstart some contractions, went to 10 cm the second I got the epidural and coughed her out. 1 VERY small first degree tear. The docs were very good at doing everything to maximize my bishop score and the body just took over 🥰

I really wanted a hippie dippie unmedicated labor but also had to be induced for high blood pressure. I was SO scared bc of all the negative things I’ve heard about inductions online, but I ended up having the most amazing unmedicated induction! Things genuinely could not have gone more perfectly!! I still don’t think I’d ever do an elective induction just bc I’d like to wait until my body is ready to go into labor on its own if I’m able, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how well mine went!! I would recommend a doula for an induction (or any labor tbh) tho bc my doula was largely the reason why my induction went so well and the reason I was still able to accomplish unmedicated labor with an induction! 🙌🏻

Started conversations about inducing at 39 weeks due to being on a blood thinner for this pregnancy. I am not excited about the possibility of inducing but thankfully I am only 21 weeks so we have some time to discuss options and risk/benefits before.

I think my 37 week induction was successful bc my team was willing to go low and slow. Like starting with 16 hours of half doses oral cytotec kind of slow lol. I was able to walk around and move about until I was given the magnesium and eventually the epidural. The worst parts of my labor experience weren’t actually directly involved with the normal induction process. The magnesium and subsequent N/V were honestly the worst parts. Whole process lasted about 36 hours and I was only pushing for 30 mins. I didn’t necessarily want to purple push, but baby was starting to show signs of fatigue during transition so he needed to be evicted lol. I think that’s the only part I would change if I had the option.

I have had to have inductions in all 4 of my pregnancies because of preeclampsia. While the preeclampsia is traumatic, luckily all of my induction experiences have been super positive.

my first was induced with cytotek and I had a wonderful time. it all went as planned, I went in in the evening, they gave it to me at 6pm~ and I labored overnight and had him the next morning. I did end up getting an epidural towards the end but id do it again because early-mid labor wasnt horrible.

Do you have a video on the positives/risks with a VBA2C? I have had 2 C-sections, one failure to progress after a pitocin induction due to a antepartum haemorrhage following a stretch and sweep and my second birth was an elective after my hospital didn’t offer vbac. I really want a spontaneous natural birth but it seems impossible now that no hospital wants to “risk” it.
