before you buy oven cleaner, try leaving a wet dishtowel (soaked in soapy water and loosely ring out) on the baked on crud overnight. it might lift, it might not, but worth a shot at avoiding oven cleaner. 🙏

Stick a baking sheet under that remarkably british looking pie and you’ll have an easier mess to clean up and then you’ll get that good caramelised goop to sneaky snack

I don’t put tomato paste in my cottage pie (though accept many people do) but I do put red bistro gravy powder in which I enjoy. The fafo cake does sound delicious.
