@mlivenews: The $65 million for local transit projects comes from the Neighborhood Roads Fund, which was created as part of the state’s 2025 road funding deal to provide additional dollars for transportation projects. Within the Neighborhood Roads Fund, the state set aside additional money – via a new Infrastructure Projects Authority Fund – for public transportation projects that create or expand transit systems, restore service in communities that have lost access or improve regional connections. The entire list of projects awarded funds, along with the county and total award amount, can be found using the "read article" button above. #michigan #transportation #news
