third parties have to be elected to local/state postions before theyll ever have a chance on a national level. if these people really wanted third parties to have a chance. they should run for their state legislature. i would love to be free of the two party system. but i will always vote for realistic harm reduction first.

My 11th grade US history teacher once told us he felt history was extremely important because if you don’t know it you’re doomed to repeat it. At 16 I thought he was just giving the typical “my subject is important” speech….until I tried to explain to people why not voting or voting third party is a bad idea in our system because that’s how Woodrow Wilson got elected and I got called a Nazi that’s when I realized a lot of these people are really REALLY ignorant

It’s called harm reduction voting. We do not have enough wide spread class consciousness to have a successful 3rd party candidate. Until we have a system that doesn’t work to keep people stupid, it will always be a binary choice.
