That trailer can’t handle a vacuum and a full load of mulched leaves. It wouldn’t be worth it, in my opinion, but do whatever you want

Trailer tongue would not be able to hold the weight. Get a dump trailer recommending 16 foot.

I did plywood on mine then painted it. When I got to the dump I just hook a pallet and chain up and the end and drive off so it pulls out quick

why you get particle board? That will not last when it rains , should have got plywood

What would you hook the chain up to in order to pull it out? I can’t imagine someone is gonna be able to pull a full trailer of leaves

Build one just like that 3 years ago and it was good for me. Just being single axel I say the bed of the truck be best for the vac

Make it all self contained. Also, use better wood. Paint it to make it last longer

Find a junk truck liner to put in the box and tow it out with a rope to empty it 🤔. Personally I use a lawn and leaf vac so I don’t have room on my trailer. I gotta build a box for my flatbed truck eventually. Typically I just mulch the shit out of the leaves and dump it into the woods. The leaf vac is towed behind my mower so I just mow them into it. It also doubles as a debris loader. You just run a hose into the truck. That being said if you can mount the sucker to the front of the truck it worked best for sucking up leaves because you can drive the truck while a guy runs the sucker hose. You can snarf up long lines of leaves that way. Really depends on how you go about your cleanups

If I don’t have this what’s a good way to do this besides a bunch of bagging for a lot of leaves?

I would recommend actual plywood as particle board quickly rots and deforms. The plywood lasts longer on my truck and trailer and I use it year round as it also hides your equipment to a degree. I would recommend 4x4s for bracing as I use six and use 10 inch brackets in 3 sides to help stabilize the walls.
