This movie was amazing because it exhibited so many problematic parts of education and society from poverty in Raju’s family to the pressures of STEM in India, it’s a movie that’ll make you cry one second and laugh the next, one of my favorites to show people to introduce them to Bollywood for the first time

I literally watched this everyday when I was a child not knowing why university can actually make someone make the decision to s word themselves until I was in uni myself (different degree, now I'm in a degree I love) and driven to a point where I harmed myself. I'm glad I didn't go further tho
