I’m always on the hunt for good sushi, especially here in Oxnard, and I can honestly say this new spot is already one of my favorites. From the quality and freshness of the fish to the service and overall attentiveness, I was SO impressed. You would never guess they had just opened! 🥢 A little tip: Grab a seat at the sushi bar! I loved having a front-row seat to watch the chefs prep the fish and make each roll. It was fun to see everything come together, and the service was quick and efficient without making me feel rushed. Perfect if you’re stopping by on your lunch break, but equally great if you want to sit back and enjoy a relaxed meal. 🍣 Here’s what I tried: 🐟 Yellowtail Sushi — Buttery, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delicious. A simple dish that really lets the quality of the fish shine! ⭐️ Yuzu Halibut Carpaccio — MY FAVORITE! The halibut had a fantastic texture and tasted so fresh. The yuzu juice and yuzu paste added the most incredible citrusy flavor, while the caviar/tobiko brought a little crunch and that perfect hint of saltiness. If you order one thing here, MAKE IT THIS! 🤌 🌅 Sunset Wave — Think an elevated California roll topped with fresh, raw salmon and finished with the BEST sweet mustard sauce. Such a delicious way to end the meal! 👏 And the service deserves some love, too! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the chefs were cranking out dishes quickly, and I was checked on multiple times throughout my visit.
