Ask Cartier to exchange it for a new one, not for repair. Their repair service is awful and takes months, even for simple things like band changes.

Well I will do you one even better, my Tank watch came out broken from the box. Didn’t work at all, they sent it for repair and will exchange for a new one but I have to wait for the repaired one to come back. I am never buying Cartier again.
