It was reading a fic where Regulus described what it felt to be demisexual that made me realize that I AM also demisexual. Like not a single post I'd ever seen or read about demisexuality clicked the way it did when I read it from that pov (instead of like, factual things about demisexuality it was personal experience and I realized I related to everything being said)

i was raised in a extremely homophobic household and LOVED harry potter and then i found the marauders fandom, and that showed me it’s okay to be queer and that you have nothing wrong with you if you are. it was in something i enjoyed and understood . i loved the characters so i didn’t think they could be wrong or bad just because of they loved same gender. i think i would of repressed it way more and would not have been as accepting that i was a lesbian, till later if it weren’t for the marauders fandom 🙏
