@channel408_bayarea: Kelvin Chiu, an athletic trainer at Archbishop Mitty High School, was arrested on October 9, 2026, for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old student under his care and recording the encounter on his cell phone. Following an immediate investigation by the San José Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, detectives apprehended Chiu in Fremont and executed search warrants on his property. Investigators subsequently discovered (CSAM) on his phone, leading to multiple felony charges including sexual battery, molestation, and possession/production of CSAM. He is currently booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail, and authorities are continuing their investigation as they suspect there may be additional victims.
