We were together for 8 years total, married for 2. She texted me while I was at work one night telling me she wanted a divorce, that she hadn’t had feelings since year 3 together. I had a 2 year relationship after a bit of a break after that. That one lied to me about her drinking for 6 months before I finally broke it off. After another break, I found the one. Everything the other two never were and more. She’s kind to me, encouraging, helpful in every aspect, driven, smart, beautiful. We get married in February. There is someone out there but it requires effort and sacrifice to find, which is probably the hardest thing you will ever have to do.
