(Not so fun) fact: if you have EDS, your gums may bleed no matter how much you floss just due to your connective tissues being defective, which causes the blood capillaries and gum tissues to be fragile 🫶🏻

Hiii I’m a 2nd year dental hygiene student about to graduate (yay!). An easier way for patients to wrap the floss is around their middle fingers on each hand and use the thumb and pointer finger to pinch the floss to really get a handle on it and get back there!!! Good job!
