Grooms getting makeup is actually super common in a lot of Asian countries! Their style of doing it is often a little much for my tastes but I love seeing it more these days myself!

This is only controversial because doing what women do is still treated as shameful. "Looking like a woman" is seen as the ultimate insult, even when it objectively means looking better. Men have the same skin and facial features, we can wear and do the same things. Let's stop acting like we're different species.
