@channelnewsasia: GFS Pride, a Singapore-flagged container ship, was among two vessels that sank near the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours after being struck by projectiles in separate incidents, maritime officials said on Wednesday (Oct 14). Antigua and Barbuda-flagged Cape Dao sank close to the strait after being struck by a projectile on Sep 23. Another Singapore-flagged vessel, GFS Giselle, was also struck by projectiles but was able to continue under its own propulsion to a safe anchorage. The crew members of both Singapore-registered vessels were safely evacuated without injuries, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore said. #sgnews #singapore #news
