@pulsenews11: Federal authorities seized Rep. Ilhan Omar's cell phone during the raid on her Washington, D.C. home on Monday, according to a person briefed on the probe who spoke to the Associated Press. The same source said investigators have issued more than a dozen grand jury subpoenas, including to some of Omar's relatives, as they probe potential fraud in her immigration paperwork. The subpoenas were issued for a grand jury collecting evidence in Minnesota. The investigation centers on whether Omar's family lied about her age when she immigrated to the U.S. in 1995 and became a citizen in 2000. On Tuesday, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro confirmed there are several investigations related to Omar, including possible immigration violations and her financial disclosures. Omar has denied wrongdoing and called the search an attempt to weaponize federal law enforcement against political enemies.
