@fox.la: REPAIR SHOP NIGHTMARE: What was supposed to be a routine fluid check turned into a nightmare for a woman who says a local auto repair shop took her car on an unauthorized joyride and totaled it.

_Gio_ :

Don’t accept a car, get ur money 👏

🫧✨🦋 :

Why were they even driving it?!?!

Chad Gerry :

That's interesting. The news is creating such a dramatic narrative. When a very simple solution is dial a simple insurance claim, and the shop paid the deductible right then

Adriannrvsz :

the way i would of sued tf outta em

trace :

These shops have insurance for that wtf

user3675881781638 :

I used to work in an independent shop, not for cosmetics but for mechanics. This happens there too. We used to take customers cars home.

Arlene G. 🇬🇹 :

Lawsuit!!! All the way to the bank!!! The audacity to say will buy you the same car with low mileage. Got me tf

alanhdz159 :

Can’t you sue the shops insurance??

WhoManLA :

Mechanics take customer cars home and drive it around

st0mpMe 🕷 :

Lawsuit lawsuit lawsuit

pinkemin3m :

Ofc he wasn’t available. They should really be held responsible for using other people’s cars.

Emmy :

Oh helllllll no

Genx is here :

This is so crazy that my exact same model and color car that she had had a reckless driver take out the front of it as well the same tires, the same everything same wheel same color same interior that is so crazy. Mine happened end of August.

user6429543517740 :

cause they use your cars....all mechanics do this

Nicky🪐🪐🪐 :

a month?!

missskattt :

That’s called a joy ride. Happened to my car as well. They didn’t wreck it but the engine was totaled. That’s why I will never take my car to a random shop, dealership only

Pancho :

They use your car for their pleasure 🤬

jenn03 :

I had a incident where I bumped a car at a 711 parking lot and we changed info and when the ins called me and said they guy stated I hit it on the street in front of their mechanic shop and I said nope it was a 711 parking lot she said oh really ok and hung up

Most mechanics and body shop personnel drive customers cars as if they owned them

G_slow_motion :

Shady shop

El mono :

Bruh most body shops that are underground (not well known) they drive their customers cars after work like a daily…i knew a guy who worked in a body shop and every other day i saw him with a different car Mustang, Evo mitsubishi, camaro SS and bro would make it seem like he owned them…come to find out he ran a body shop and he was driving around in customer cars. If yall gonna take your cars to a body shop make sure is a legit shop that runs through insurances.

mimi<3 :

I would’ve called the police immediately and made a report
