@leahmarieart: Sometimes the greatest lessons in life come from the very people we thought we were supposed to teach. Love Letter to Her is the most personal collection of original paintings I've ever created. It's a love letter to my daughter, Madilyn. My first true, honest best friend. The person who taught me more about confidence, individuality, kindness, and strength than I could ever have imagined. From the time she was little, she never questioned whether her colors matched, whether she was too much, or whether someone else approved of her choices. She simply knew who she was. And while I was raising her, somewhere along the way, she was teaching me how to become myself. After years of losing my own connection to color, watching her live so fearlessly and authentically helped me find the courage to reclaim mine. But what I admire most about her isn't her confidence. It's that life has given her plenty of reasons to become hard, yet she has remained kind. She has learned to stand up for herself without losing her compassion. To walk away from what doesn't align with who she is, even when it hurts. She taught me that you can be soft without being weak. Bold without being unkind. And unapologetically yourself without needing anyone's permission. Every sunflower in this collection represents friendship, strength, joy, and the courage to stand tall. Every bold color celebrates the freedom of being exactly who you are. These eight original paintings tell pieces of her story, but they also tell pieces of mine. And maybe, somewhere in these paintings, you'll recognize a little of your own story, too. Because Love Letter to Her isn't just about my daughter.
