@latest.new11: HGTV’s Alison Victoria Says She Shows the “Really Ugly Part” of Home Renovation on Sin City Rehab Season 2 Alison Victoria says she is not afraid to show the messy side of home renovation. The HGTV star, 44, told PEOPLE she promises to show “the good and the bad and the really ugly part of this business” on season 2 of Sin City Rehab. She said that approach is “fully intentional and the only reason that I do television.” It is also what she did on her first show, Windy City Rehab. She said even after vetting everyone she works with, some collaborators are not who they seem. “The business can be shady and the people in it can be even shadier,” she said. She shared one recent example. Off camera, two weeks before her interview, she said she told an electrician working on one of her homes to leave. She said he had lied to her and that his work was incorrect. “You could have burned my home down,” she said she told him. “I wish there were cameras there,” she joked. Her shows have also included a falling out with former business partner Donovan Eckhardt. She said it is about being authentic. “If people don’t want to see that, that’s okay,” she said. They can watch other, more feel-good HGTV shows. Season 2 finds her a year into her return to Las Vegas. She said she made this the “year of saying yes,” working with new investors and other flippers. The season premiered Oct. 7. She also stepped outside her usual style with a kitchen design. “I’ve never done a kitchen like that,” she said.
