As someone who only took one undergrad SR level digital forensic class in a CS degree…. My skin crawled hearing they mushed all those devices data together. That’s just sooo weird.

Hear me out. The second phone found was in PC’s possession until it went back conveniently in the drawer. He took it to CVS, this explains the stair climbs while the Apple Watch says her heart rate was very low, which would account for the 2 climbs, and maybe he called himself from that said cell phone,which may explain that 14 second “ish” phone call that “Lindsey’s” made back to PC from the drugstore. I don’t know, I am only speculating.

If the 2nd phone was Lindseys, given how quick he moved on, and that Lindsey had concerns over money, it would make you wonder if she suspected he was already cheating. On the other hand, it could be Patrick's and used to seem as if it was Lindsey for reasons that this case is all about. Either way it's completely sus and Reddington should have it excluded.

It’s also weird because most people have to sell or trade in their old phone to afford the new one and the way the house was decorated and Lindsay’s concerns about money lead me to feel like it’s weird they’d have an extra phone

As an IT I’m stuck on the iPhone not having a serial number like as far as I know the only way that’s possible is if it’s a fake or has parts replaced with after market parts which doesn’t seem like something she would have

i’m trying to come up with reasonable theories about this and all i can think is hanging on to an old phone when you upgrade so your kids can facetime grandma and grandpa? did the kids have tablets at all do we know?

A massive problem in modern True Crime is that much of the laws and procedures for various jurisdictions have not caught up with the digital age we are in. We have so much more access to tech than we ever did before, and much of it has not been acknowledged or ammended.

How does one obtain a cell phone without a serial number??? I usually trade my old phone in, but last time I kept it so I could use it to scroll TT before bed. it’s not even the same size, let alone the same model or color… and I’m sure the serial number doesn’t just ✨disappear✨ because it’s not activated anymore.

You do know that both phones were initially identified as "no identifiable serial number" because iPhones don't have serial numbers physically printed on them. Neither of them was actually missing a serial number.
