The ONLY teeny tiny part about UMN that’s better is that four of the football players were expelled and others suspended. Absolutely wasn’t enough, but it is somewhat better than how Cornell is handling this situation. I started at UMN in 2020 and the amount of students who had no idea what happened only four years ago was insane.

The entire team said they would refuse to play in protest to the players involved getting suspended. And at the time it was mandatory for the team to get active bystander training from The Aurora Center too (all the athletic teams did). They knew better.
