@idronedmyself: 🇪🇸🔥 HAPPENING IN MADRID RIGHT NOW! Thousands of protesters have taken to the streets of Madrid tonight, filling the area around Puerta del Sol as teachers and students demand major changes to Spain's public education system. 📚 WHAT'S BEHIND THE PROTEST? Teachers across the Madrid region launched an indefinite strike today, October 14, demanding: ✊ Higher salaries — including a €600 monthly increase 🏫 Smaller class sizes and more teachers 📚 Increased funding for public schools ⏰ Fewer teaching hours and less administrative bureaucracy 👩‍🏫 Better working conditions and resources for students 🚨 A significant police presence, including heavily equipped riot officers, lined the streets as demonstrators gathered in the heart of the Spanish capital. I happened to be walking through central Madrid tonight and captured these scenes firsthand. 📍 Puerta del Sol, Madrid, Spain 📅 October 14, 2026 Madrid is making its voice heard! 🇪🇸 #Madrid #PuertaDelSol #MadridProtest #Spain #MadridToday
