@immliwala: #CapCut #Islam #Quran #Muslim #Islamic Ayat al-Kursi (the Throne Verse) is Quran 2:255 from Surah al-Baqarah. Several authentic Hadiths highlight its virtues. 1. It is the greatest verse in the Quran Ubayy ibn Ka’b reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “O Abu al-Mundhir, do you know which verse in the Book of Allah with you is the greatest?” I said: “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He repeated the question, so I said: “Allah! There is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence…” (2:255). The Prophet struck me on the chest and said: “By Allah, O Abu al-Mundhir, may knowledge be pleasant for you!” abuaminaelias.com Source: Sahih Muslim 810 (also in Abu Dawud and others). Graded Sahih. 2. Protection when recited before sleep Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed him to guard the Zakat of Ramadan. A thief came repeatedly to steal. When caught, the thief said: “When you go to your bed, recite Ayat al-Kursi (2:255) from beginning to end. Then a guardian from Allah will stay with you, and no Shaytan will come near you until morning.” When Abu Hurairah told the Prophet, he said: “He told you the truth, although he is a liar. That was Shaytan.” fawaaids.com Source: Sahih al-Bukhari 2311 / 5010. 3. Recited after every obligatory prayer Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every prescribed (obligatory) prayer, nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise except death.” hadeethenc.com Source: Sunan an-Nasa’i al-Kubra 9848 (and others such as Ibn Hibban). Graded Sahih by scholars including al-Albani. These are among the strongest and most widely accepted narrations. Other reports exist about its protective effects (e.g., against Shaytan in the home), but the three above are the primary authentic ones.
