@carkitu.co.ke: Buying car insurance in Kenya? Third Party Only (TPO) is cheaper. But who pays if your car is written off? Comprehensive Insurance Third Party Only. #carsforsale #usedcarsforsale #carinsurancekenya #carsforsaleinkenya #carbuyingtips
I have owned vehicle for many years.i have insured both 3rd party and comprehensive.
If it would be my wish,I wouldn't buy any insurance.
we only buy insurance to avoid being arrested by police.
I agree accidents happen.
I bought comprehensive for 4 yrs spending over 200k
who benefitted with my money?
I better loose my vehicle or do my own repair than insurance.

My car is a 2004 Toyota 1500cc, so it's 22 years today. It runs very well just like I bought it yesterday and does upto 14Kms/L. I bought it as a second hand in 2014 at 650k. Deprecation at 10% p.a. means right now it has zero value financially. But coz it's still in tip top condition, I take the lowest priced TPO about Ksh 4,500. But I agree with your advice 💯, with an addition that careful driving significantly reduces chances of road accidents so whatever insurance you have, pray for safe journey but also exercise discipline on the road.

For some cars TPO is the only option.

hata hiyo comprehensive kulipwa ni bahati sana. Tumeibiwa huko nje na mainsurance. Mtu atumie ile insurance anataka.
