There's issues with using an AI agent to file money claims online, the landlord has to sign a sworn statement of truth and sign as a director or personally when submitting a money claim. If an AI agent hallucinates and makes a typing mistake or puts in the wrong particulars of the claim, the money claim would be wrong and would require paying to correct the claim errors. Also a landlord can't just take private tenant data and use any AI system and transfer it to a third party bot or company, that would be an instant breach of GDPR. There's also new rules now that people need to be informed if AI is being used by a business. A tenant could technically request an Subject Access Request SAR with all of a landlords agent chats where they are referenced. If a landlord refused to provide those chats, the same money claim system could be used against the landlord. AI is great but for businesses if they have AI policies in place, but they can't simply throw a tenants data into them with no prior notice they use AI or how they use AI. Tenants could go after landlords if they put their data into an AI agent or chat system and errors are made. An agent signing as a landlord for any claim could be thrown out. Agents could write the claim for the landlord but again if a tenants data has been shared without permission GDPR has been breached. A counter claim could be more expensive to a landlord who has used AI agents to file a money claim. The agent can't take the mandatory mediation call when a tenant denies the claim. 😎
