I don’t talk about the long-term vision behind trading very often. So here it is. I’m not learning futures because I want to sit in front of charts all day. I’m learning because I’m looking for another level of freedom. Entrepreneurship already changed my life. I’ve built businesses that allow me to work from pretty much anywhere. I’ve built an incredible team that handles so much of the day-to-day. I have a level of time freedom that I’m incredibly grateful for. And I’m ready to build on that. The vision with trading has always been bigger than making money from a trade. I want to learn the skill. Get consistent. Earn payouts from prop firms without risking large amounts of my own capital while I’m still learning. And eventually take a portion of that money and put it to work somewhere else. Long-term investments. Swing trades. Stocks. Maybe options once I decide whether I actually like the damn things. 😂 And eventually, other assets and opportunities that make sense for the life I’m building. Make money. Move money. Grow money. That’s the bigger game for me. Futures are risky. Prop firms come with their own rules, drawdowns and limitations. None of this is easy money, and I’m certainly not pretending I’ve mastered it. I’m learning a skill I believe can eventually become another piece of a much larger wealth-building strategy. Because ultimately, I don’t want to spend my life working harder for every additional dollar. I want more of my money working alongside me. That’s why I keep showing up. That’s why I’m willing to suck at this long enough to get good at it. The goal was never just to become a day trader.
