I’ve been getting paid to create content for tech companies for over a year now… and most people don’t even know this side of UGC exists. 👀 I started with ZERO experience. No portfolio. No following. No previous brand deals. Just a willingness to try something new and figure things out along the way. That decision introduced me to canvas UGC, where companies pay creators to make content for dedicated social media accounts promoting their products or services. And let me tell you, I’ve learned A LOT. Over the past year, I’ve learned how to create content, test hooks, follow trends, work with companies, negotiate agreements, and understand what goes on behind the scenes of being a UGC creator. I’ve made mistakes, wasted time on opportunities that went nowhere, and learned lessons I wish someone had shared with me sooner. But I’ve also gained valuable experience, built relationships with companies, and discovered opportunities I never knew existed. And now I’m entering a whole new chapter. ✨ I’m taking everything I’ve learned from canvas UGC and expanding into beauty, skincare, lifestyle, wellness, travel, and traditional product UGC. And here’s something I’m realizing… Just because you have experience in one area doesn’t mean you automatically have everything figured out in another. I’m learning how to pitch new brands, build a portfolio, navigate UGC platforms, price my work, and grow my own social media presence. And I’m sharing ALL of it. Not just the wins and paid collaborations, but the unanswered pitches, the low views, the mistakes, and everything in between. Because I think social media sometimes makes UGC look easier than it actually is. Behind all of this, I’m also a mom of three, a wife, and a small business owner who spent 10 years as a stay-at-home mom. My family will always come first. I value being present, creating memories, living intentionally, and building a life where I don’t have to choose between being there for my family and pursuing something for myself. UGC has given me a creative outlet and an opportunity to contribute financially while still prioritizing the things that matter most. And that’s something I never take for granted. 🤍 One thing about me? I don’t believe in gatekeeping. If I’ve learned something that could help another creator avoid a mistake, save time, or find an opportunity, I want to share it. So if you’re following along, here’s what you can expect: ✨ Everything I’ve learned from over a year of canvas UGC. ✨ Beginner mistakes and lessons I wish I’d known sooner. ✨ My experiences finding and pitching brands. ✨ Honest reviews of UGC platforms and opportunities. ✨ My journey expanding into beauty, lifestyle, wellness, and travel UGC. ✨ The reality of balancing content creation, motherhood, and everyday life. I’m not here to pretend I have everything figured out. I’m here to share what I know, learn what I don’t, and hopefully help someone else along the way. I’m not starting over. I’m building on everything I’ve already learned. If you’re curious about UGC, already creating content, or looking for inspiration to try something new, I’d love for you to follow along. 🫶 Let’s learn, grow, and figure this out together. 💬 Are you already creating UGC, or are you thinking about getting started?
