@momomoko_jp: Lost phone, fever, allergy, wrong train, no cash. One phrase each, with pronunciation — and the Japanese script to show someone: 📱 Keitai o nakushimashita (KEH-tai o na-ku-shi-MASH-ta) = I lost my phone → 携帯をなくしました. Go to a koban (police box) or the station office. Tokyo police data: about half of lost phones get back to their owners. Taxi? The receipt has the company's number 🏥 Kurinikku wa doko desu ka? (ku-ri-NIK-ku wa DO-ko dess ka) = where's a clinic? → クリニックはどこですか. For a fever or cold, a clinic is faster and cheaper than a hospital; without Japanese insurance expect ¥10,000+. Pharmacy = yakkyoku (薬局). Ambulance = 119, free in most areas 🥜 Nattsu arerugii ga arimasu (NAT-tsu a-re-ru-GEE ga a-ri-MASS) = I have a nut allergy → ナッツアレルギーがあります. Swap the food: tamago (egg) 卵 · ebi (shrimp) えび · gyuunyuu (milk) 牛乳 · komugi (wheat) 小麦. Show it written. Dashi (fish stock) is in most soups, noodles and sauces 🚃 Densha o machigaemashita (DEN-sha o ma-chi-ga-e-MASH-ta) = I took the wrong train → 電車を間違えました. Get off at the next stop and cross to the other platform — don't exit the gates, tell staff if asked, usually no extra fare. Lost? Shinjuku wa doko desu ka? 💴 Kaado wa tsukaemasu ka? (KAH-do wa tsu-ka-e-MASS ka) = can I use a card? → カードは使えますか. Ask before you sit. ATMs that take US cards: 7-Eleven (24h), Lawson, Japan Post Save the last slide — five phrases in one screenshot 🔖 📲 Practice them out loud before the trip — search "Kana Language Partner" in your app store Which one have you needed? 👇 #japantravel #japantraveltips #learnjapanese #tokyotravel #japanesephrases
