I’d like to share a brief story based on my personal experience. On my way home from work in Greenhills, I happened to ride the same jeepney with a blind man going from Vira Mall to the Santolan MRT station. As we got off, I offered my shoulder to help guide him as we walked from the terminal up to the MRT platform. Along the way, he shared a little bit about his life like how he travels every single day from Alabang to Greenhills for work. Amazed by his daily commute, I asked him, “Buti kuya, kaya mo?”His reply is something I will never forget: “Hindi naman ako nawalan ng paa, ma’am... paningin ko lang ang nawala.” It was a powerful reminder that our limitations don't define our capacity, and true drive comes from within. 🙏🏻
