@custosdei: She was a young girl in a small village, and her "yes" changed history. 🕊️ Did you know? The prayer Mary spoke after the angel's visit is called the Magnificat (Luke 1:46-55). It begins with "My soul magnifies the Lord," and it is one of the oldest Marian prayers in Christianity. She prayed it not in a palace, but in an ordinary home, with no certainty about what was ahead. What moves me most is her trust. She didn't have all the answers. She said, "Let it be done to me according to your word," and chose faith over fear. 🤍 Maybe you are in a season of waiting right now, unsure and tired. Mary reminds us that God works quietly, in hidden places, in the hearts of those who say "yes" even when they tremble. Take a breath. Place your hand on your heart like she did. And pray: "Lord, I trust You." 💬 Comment "Amen" if you needed this today, and follow for daily moments of prayer and contemplation. #VirginMary #CatholicTikTok #Prayer #Faith #ChristianTikTok
