@samui_elephant_sanctuary: Kham San and Kham Pang spend every moment together, and you can hear their affectionate rumbles and trumpets across our sanctuary almost every day. From a young age they were trained in cruel ways to suppress their natural behaviours and be submissive to their owners. At 58 and 62 years old, they can spend the rest of their days playing, communicating and comforting one another ♥️ #animalrescue #animalwelfare #elephant #kohsamui #animalbehaviour

To me one of the most beautiful sounds in the world is that very low rumble of an elephant. I know it tells a story and I like the story it tells 🥰🥰

I'd love to know what it is they're saying. Are they sharing past experiences, or just having a chat about how good life is now they can spend all day at 'the spa' 😆 🐘
