I don't understand this argument. The Dodgers will probably win 8 of the next 10 WS. Not getting a 3peat is NOT proof a salary cap is wrong.

Needs to be a salary cap no matter who wins. A big majority of teams can’t resign their own stars because a handful of teams can afford to give them salaries that prices the rest out. Every other major sports organization has a cap for a reason

99.9% of people don’t even know why the owners want a cap. It has nothing to do with the Dodgers spending. Competitive balance is a term that fans came up with the the owners have latched onto to win the public over. Do your research on why this lockout has been guaranteed for 4 years now.
