ask for deep breaths and when they say exhale let them do it, also keep it clean!!! wash it nightly and morning with that salt water shit or whatever!!!

Okay so!!! I had mine done almost 4??? Weeks ago it doesn’t hurt as much as people say it does my experience is that the clamp hurt wayyy more cos it was tight but the needle part isn’t so bad at all ! The jewlerly part may sting a bit but I rate the pain overall 4-5/10 make sure to keep it clean sometimes the septum moves and it hurts to put it back straight but it stops hurting after a few days or maybe a couple weeks mines still healing and a little sore but I’m really happy with it make sure to keep it clean 🙃

It shouldn't hurt too bad, make sure you clean with a sterile saline solution twice a day while it's healing, make sure you follow the piercers advice - don't change it until however long the piercer says it should take to heal, as often even if it doesn't hurt it may not be fully healed yet, but in general septum piercings are pretty easy to manage

When you get it pierced, try not to move it much for the first couple weeks bc you get little crusties on it that feel like razor blades going thru the piercing hole 😞

It was my least painful piercing, and honestly i only cleaned it once during the healing process and it healed really quickly and didnt hurt, i could even tuck it in immediately the day after for school. But when its winter it becomes hell when u have a runny/stuffy nose 😭😭

had mine for almost 3 years, will he honest i barely cleaned it and flipped it up constantly because of school, but ive never had any issues with it. just try not to pull constantly on it and dont lose the ball 😭😭 had that problem too many times. any questions just lmk

for me the pain was 2.5/10 so hopefully itll be like that for you!! ask ur piercer if they sell any cleaning spray id definitely recommend getting it, unfortunately youll get crusties which luckily I havent really experienced but dont pick at them dry!! to clean them off always make sure its damp so they come off easier. on days where its sore/stings i always cup my hand in some warm water and put my nose in it
