The girl was actually really kind hearted and was trying to rescue a bat that got into church during Sunday service. Every doctor had failed to recognise rabies until she had gotten into severe symptoms (not that it would have made any difference) despite her telling them about the bat. When she woke up, her brain had been shut down for so long she had to re-learn how to do alot of things. She graduated, married, and now has kids
