saw a big crash on the highway.. it tooks ambulance, fire trucks and police 25 minutes to get there, mind you the police station, the hospital and fire department wasn’t even 3 minutes away from this area.

I've had terrible experiences with cops. that doesn't change the way I look at them. I love cops sm and wave to them everytime I see them. Cops will always be the people I look up to.

My dad quite literally ran out of the house on 9/11 after the first plane hit (we lived in Long Island) and he was gone for three days. I was in kindergarten and my sister was in preschool. He knew there was a good chance he wouldn’t come home and went without a second thought.

I’ve always appreciated cops but now that my husband is working on becoming one WOW the amount of psychological tests and trials they put you through to be one is incredible. Not to mention leaving your family for 4 months to attend the boot camp academy. I wish people knew more about what goes into this position. They set you up to fail!!!! Those that pass are the best of the best. Corruption exists everywhere obviously but they really do put in a lot of effort to try and keep the best morally grounded people.

one of my favorite police man stories comes from my friends dad who saved a man from jumping off a bridge in manhattan. i forget which one. but there’s a picture of it and it’s awesome

Liar lol they forced me to stay in the car with my mom while knowing she was under the influence and then sat there and laughed while I was a 5th grader begging to not let my mom drive and then she left and was driving with me in the car as she almost drove off the bridge and I had to crash the car over by a street pole and again the cops saw and acted like it didn’t matter
