I LOOOVE cold porcelain!! If anyone keeps getting inconsistent results, do it over a double boiler on a low simmer instead of the microwave. The microwave can sometimes overcook small sections and it'll ruin the whole batch! Also don't add any water, that also makes it crack. You can also add acrylic paint or gel food coloring to color it 😁

Here’s a tip: press the cup in the cornstarch and add your glue in that hole, you won’t have to scrape any sides or wash the glue out of that cup

Note to remember with this clay is that it Does wick moisture from the air (hence the vinegar AND salt) so please remember to varnish your projects to seal the clay!

I love cold porcelain clay but for me the cornstarch makes it a sensory nightmare because even with gloves it feels rough and kind of like a drying on your fingers which makes me gag 😂😭

This has been sitting in my hallway for about 15 years, made out of almost the same exact recipe. The difference being it was made in a pan, not in a microwave.
