@kenneth.oxxqn_5856_404: Donald Trump’s new White House press secretary, Katie Zacharia, is facing a wave of criticism after her first press briefing reportedly left some of her own colleagues unimpressed. The 41-year-old former Fox News personality stepped behind the podium on Tuesday for her first official address. But the appearance quickly attracted attention after she stumbled through parts of her script, mistakenly referred to the president as her husband, and answered questions from just three reporters before ending the briefing after 14 minutes. While the White House communications team publicly praised her performance, leaked comments reported by the Daily Mail painted a very different picture. One senior administration official reportedly said she could barely read, while another claimed she appeared unprepared. A different insider even questioned whether someone inside the administration had deliberately put her in a difficult position. But the criticism goes beyond her first appearance. Zacharia is also facing questions about her legal credentials. According to The Wall Street Journal, she failed the bar exam in 2011 after graduating from Pepperdine University’s law school. She later worked at a law firm in Beijing, where she reportedly handled international legal transactions. However, when reporters asked which state she had passed the bar in, she responded, “When I moved to China.” Zacharia later told The New York Times that she had misunderstood the question. White House communications director Steven Cheung defended her appointment, calling her a “wonderful addition to the team.” With colleagues reportedly divided over her performance and questions surrounding her qualifications, Zacharia’s first days in the role have already become a major test. \#WhiteHouse #KatieZacharia #DJTrump #USNews #breakingnews
