Day 1 of 7 The Tofu Sandwich Series: Crispy Thai Chili crispy Coconut Tofu Sandwich 🌶️🥥 Starting with one of my favourites! Crispy coconut-crusted tofu dipped in sweet Thai chili sauce, quick-pickled cucumbers, red onion, cilantro, and Thai chili mayo! I always keep coconut-crusted tofu cutlets in my freezer so I can make sandwiches like this in under 20 minutes! Ingredients (1 sandwich): 2 crispy coconut-crusted tofu cutlets 1 sandwich bun 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce (for dipping tofu) 3 tbsp vegan mayo + 3 tbsp Thai chili sauce (for mayo) 1/4 cucumber, thinly sliced - I like to use a mandolin 2 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tsp white sugar + pinch of salt Handful of thinly sliced red onion - I also like to use the mandolin for this! Fresh cilantro Extra vegan mayo + sesame seeds for top bun Directions: 1. Toss cucumbers with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Let sit 10 minutes. 2. Soak sliced red onion in ice water for 5-10 minutes to mellow the flavour. 3. Air fry frozen tofu cutlets at 400°F for about 15 minutes until crispy. 4. Mix 3 tbsp vegan mayo with 3 tbsp Thai chili sauce. 5. Dip tofu in the 1/4 cup of Thai chili sauce. Spread chili mayo on the bottom bun, then layer tofu, cucumbers, red onion, and cilantro. Finish with vegan mayo and sesame seeds on the top bun! Coconut-Crusted Tofu Recipe: * 1 block extra-firm tofu, sliced into cutlets * 1 cup panko * ¾ cup unsweetened shredded coconut * 1 tsp salt Mix panko, coconut, and salt. Coat tofu (use a wet batter if needed to help it stick). Fry: In neutral oil until golden and crispy. Bake: Spray with oil, 400°F for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway. Air fry: Spray with oil, 400°F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway. 6 more tofu sandwiches coming! Follow for the rest!

#kalogerassisters | read this para! you guys need to understand that just because you think someone is annoying or that they ruined a video, it doesn’t give you the right to send them hate or threats. everyone is allowed to have their own opinions, and if you didn’t enjoy them being in the Sam and Colby video, that’s completely fine, but there is a HUGE difference between having an opinion and going out of your way to make someone feel horrible about themselves. they were invited to be part of the video too, and they deserve to enjoy the experience just like anyone else. you don’t have to like everyone, you don’t have to watch their content, and you don’t have to pretend to enjoy them, but you DO have to remember that they’re real people with real feelings, not characters you can just hate on whenever they do something you don’t like. imagine being so excited to be part of a video and then opening your phone to thousands of people insulting you, calling you annoying, and even sending you threats just because some viewers didn’t like your presence. criticism is one thing, but threatening people over a YOUTUBE VIDEO is genuinely insane. sam and colby make their own decisions about who they want in their videos, and you don’t have to agree with every decision they make. if you think the video was better without someone, okay, move on and enjoy the parts you liked. nobody is forcing you to like them. but sending hate isn’t going to magically make the video better, and it definitely isn’t going to make you look cool. you can express your opinion without being disrespectful, and you can dislike someone without wishing bad things on them. at the end of the day, it’s literally a video meant to entertain people, so why are we turning it into a reason to bully others? please learn the difference between not liking someone and genuinely trying to hurt them. THEY ARE HUMAN TOO, AND NOBODY DESERVES THREATS OVER BEING IN A VIDEO. 🤍 @Sam and Colby @Eliana Kalogeras @demitrakalogeras @sundaykalogeras | #Foryou #fyp #hellweek #viral | i feel so bad
