I’m a veteran now, but I was also the first in my family line to be a part of the US military. I am a middle eastern woman, came to the US in 2011 at 12, and joined straight out of hs. Instead of having arranged marriages like my older sisters I decided to choose my own path. Women are capable of SO MUCH.
