People would pay to have their Legos sorted back into Lego sets.

I used to buy legos like that for the kids I nannied for.. they didn’t care they used their imagination and made some really cool things.. one of them made a safe that had a working door. Still a great find.

That sorter is incredible! My son is autistic and while he doesn’t play Lego he does like to build a sensory bin and then need me to organize it back out all the way down to pearler beads. A sorting machine would save me hours! Days!!!

I was going to wait until retirement to sort out our Lego bricks by sight & hand. But if I had that sorting machine I could be building instead.

This is probably bc it was a young boys collection that he left all over the house and the mom got too tired of picking them up and threw some away 😆

So you’re telling me that sorter can not only identify mixed pieces but also recognize entire kits??

The Glitchy Witch :
Does your sorter take into account pieces that could be used in multiple sets. For example, if Set A and Set B both use Piece 1: how does your system prioritize which set to sort it to? Even if it is set to prioritize complete sets, it would have no way of knowing until the end. You should program it to generate an overlap report to identify pieces that could be moved from one set to another to make one set more complete.
