@ilikethatwookie: I spent part of yesterday at @the Design Museum with @LAIKA Studios, admiring their work on the puppets, models, concept art and set pieces from their new film, WILDWOOD. I was also lucky enough to get an interview in with Head of Animation, Brad Schiff, who spoke eloquently about the process, puppetry and the challenges both team and individuals face on a project of this magnitude. It was such a thrill for this puppet and practical effects nerd, to be in amongst the models and sets and ticking off another one of my dream interviews. This is just part one of my chat with Brad, expect more clips/content soon and an article about WILDWOOD exhibition on the @GYCO website. Huge thanks to the team at Friends and Co and @DDA Global for their work pulling it all together. #wildwood #laika #stopanimation #stopmotionanimation #stopmotion
