It’s heartbreaking to see them so frightened. I genuinely hope they all find loving homes very soon. It's hard times right now & it's hard knowing how much the rescues & the shelters are overflowing while the economy is on the decline... (On a side note, I hope we, as a society, can stop intentionally breeding any animal species that were bred solely for their appearance, fully aware that we’ve intentionally created these purposeful malformations, which have significantly reduced their quality of life, particularly in terms of breathing and eating.) (... including animals like chickens that have been modified for larger bodies that their legs and ankles can’t support.)
