Also the community is filled with people who are desperate to dogpile and hate a the new characters at all cost, not even giving them a chance. Yes, it’s funny for a moment but it gets old QUICK. Like.. we get it.. you don’t like this character but no need to harass their fans or make it other people’s problem 😭

i suspect this meddling started with varka. since recent male characters have followed a pattern of performing not nearly close to meta standars since release. most likely, varka, lohen, and now mitya have suffered from this beta testers actions. but i believe that the leaker got greedy and decided to mess with vesna and vodyanitsa (although not as much), because remember that weird period of the beta where vodyanitsa was underperforming and stull she got nerfed? i dont think that was a cooncidence. i hope im wrong, but this feels like an inside job, or q group of beta tester joining together to kill a character's hype before they even release, or overhype a character before release.

Only thing I poke at leaks for is possible upcoming banners. Even then, I only poke at ones that are noted reliable and even then don’t fully trust until it’s in the game proper.

What makes it worst is that people targetting him bc he's a male character. We know the fandom has always had it out for male characters so spreading misinfo/agenda pushing will always be greater with male charcter especially ones as popular as mitya.

Leakers said Furina’s HP drain was lethal at the start of Fontaine and she has anti-gravity abilities. They said Wriothsley was going to be a physical DPS. They said Alice would be playable in the Luna patches. They said Dottore would be playable. Why are people still listening to leaks especially leaked about characters that won’t be released until really far into the future.
