you could put a charging port for a phone, or it could be for pretty things, I know I'm a pretty things person. you could put snacks there, maybe make a lip so they don't roll off. you could buy/make a decorative tissue box because everyone needs tissues. there could be flowers (real or fake) or just a junk place to chuck stuff
