Try to lift your furniture if possible. I hope you have renters insurance because if you can’t salvage your furniture then you can file a claim to get that replaced. As far as (damages) you’d ONLY be responsible if you created the flood and you didn’t. I’m sorry this is happening I know you have pride for your home and now there’s water everywhere.
